Please look through these answers to Frequently Asked Questions before you contact us:

Please read through these questions and answers before you send us an e-mail or contact us. We often receive the same questions many times and it will save us a lot of time and get you your answers right away. Also, many questions can be answered by reviewing the rules and information from our website.

Do we need to check in our team at the hotel?

All teams are required to check in on Saturday, one hour prior to your first game at your field you are scheduled at.

Are travel papers required?

Teams outside of Cal South must have appropriate travel papers from their own State Association, which must include a roster listing all players authorized to travel. US Club Soccer teams and team in Region IV are not required to provide travel papers.

How many loan players can each team have?

Unlimited amount of loan players each team can have. Team must provide loan papers for each player approved from their State Association. If a loan player is from outside your State Association you need to get approval from the loaned player State Association. Cal South players are not required to provide loan papers.

How many total players can we have on our roster?

The maximum number of players each team can have on their roster is 22 for u17 and up. Only 18 players will be allowed to dress up for each game.

For teams u8 and u9 , fourteen players maximum. For u10 playing 11 aside to u14 the maximum amount of players is 18.

 Do you accept all Out of State teams that apply?

No. However we will try to accept as many as possible to try to create a competitive experience for everyone. Out of State teams will get accepted early in order to allow them time to plan for travel arrangements.

 I know we are guaranteed 3 matches, but on what days will they be played?

All teams are guaranteed 3 matches. teams will have two games on Saturday and two on Sunday. Some teams depending on the size of the brackets could have a total of 3 games on Sunday.

 We have two teams coached by the same coach, can you guarantee that there will be no conflicts?

If a coach has two teams in the same tournament please let us know as soon as possible. Also please add that to the comment box on your registration so we can plan accordingly and help out the coach out getting to both games.

Can we add players to our roster at check in night?

Yes, players can be added and deleted to the night of registration. No one will be allowed to play after this deadline.

I am having trouble with my Gotsoccer.com login, can you help?

As much as we would like to, the best thing to do is to contact Got soccer.com to help with technical issues regarding their site. The toll free support number is 888-258-5220

Where will be the scores posted?

Scores will be posted on our flat screen television at the main headquarter to be announce later. Scores will also be updated on the spot on our website. You can also check scores on our tournament app.Please make sure and verify the score at the end of each game, sign the game card and bring your score to our field marshal tent.

San Diego Cup Invitational is a Stay and Play Tournament. What if we don't want to stay in one of the hotels you have approved and listed?

The San Diego Cup is a Stay and Play tournament. accommodations must be made through our housing agent, Team Runner. Team Runner will provide the lowest team rates available. Please follow the link on our website under hotel to book your rooms and secure your entry into our event. 

Do you have a player pool if we are in need of extra players interested in joining us?

A player pool will be available for players to register through Gotsoccer.com under the guest player section. A list of available player will be available for teams in need.

When is the registration deadline?

Registration deadline is May 1,2019. Please apply early as we expecting a large number of teams.

What type of payment do you accept?

Team payments can be made on line when you apply via credit card or by check, if paying by check please send payment to: Psi/SD Cup, 17197 Patina Street San Diego CA.92127

Which fields will my team be  playing on?

At this time we have locked in some great fields, 4s Ranch Sport Complex, Miramar College, Nobel park, San Pasqual High school.

Is there any parking fees at the facilities?

At this time no parking fees will be charged for the facilities we have contracted with.
